The Museum Visit

1. The arts in the museum symbolizes the meaning of history of cultural aspects of the people in Mindanao. Some art contain very important trademark in its historical place. For example, they used weapons in fighting in wars and hunting animals, tools for farming, musical instruments, weaving, and making jewelry.

2. The art reflects about the history of Cagayan de Oro and its art in northern Mindanao where in long time ago when the institution; the Capitol University, started to educate the students with the arts collected as a display of Misamis Oriental's natural history.

3. My Impression in this museum is notable because the arts reflects on the cultural aspects similar to the Contemporary artist today. I hope that these arts may inspire many people or students who want to become creative artist in the future.

Lourd de Veyra

The Word of the Lourd

Word of the Lourd (WOTL) is a short television segment which airs daily on TV5's news channel Aksyon TV 41 and formerly on TV5. Hosted by award-winning writer and musician Lourd de Veyra, the segment shows the host's social and political commentaries delivered in deadpan humor. It is considered as a contemporary art because of the history of the society on the present time. Some of his episodes
are focused on "unique" Filipino traits which are commonly seen and used in the contemporary society. It also shows the current news of the society or the news that are recently seen on the television everyday. The collaborative in this show is that a lot of people behind are mostly seen while he is delivering his lines. The show is also mass based because of the public viewing in either in television or live viewing.

CONTEMPORARY ART

My Own Contemporary Art

My Contemporary Art is about this devastated environment or a wasteland that is caused by flood, storm, or war, But a beautiful stunning landscape that represents the destruction of mother nature through Human acts or natural phenomena where mostly the art is just like what is happening in our world today. Despite the rugged, barren surroundings it also shows how a Person could imagine living or seeing himself in this wasteland for the first time.

Another example of this environment where it shows the city or town in the aftermath of war. This art is similar to the aftermath of the Marawi city today.
